All visitors under the age of 15 are required to receive one dosage of OPV at border points upon arrival. Additionally, polio vaccination certificate is required as a proof at least 6 weeks (about 1 and a half months) before departure for the application of entry visa.
Flu Shot
Flu shot is not mandatory by the Saudi health ministry, but it is recommended that international pilgrims receive a seasonal influenza vaccine before arriving in KSA, especially for those pilgrims who are at a higher risk of severe influenza complications such as pregnant women, children, elderly and those with underlying health conditions.
