On Wednesday, 10th of February, the luxury label Sania Maskaatiya showed its latest Resort ’22 Collection in New York. The brand was successful at the prestigious NYC event – The Council of Aspiring American Fashion Designers (CAAFD).
Certainly, this marked the third consecutive year for Sania Maskatiya, the first and only Pakistani designer and design house, to officially participate at one of the big four major global fashion events in New York Fashion Week. Earlier this year she attended NYFW S/S19, where she attracted great attention from both spectators and media alike. She later did a runway show at NYW F/W19 with much acclaim from her peers – something she looks forward to again in 2022.
Comfort meets style with Luxury RESORT 2022 Collection by SANIA MASKATIYA, an aesthetic with a touch of class. Hand woven fabric used in this design maintains the perfect balance between simplicity and elegance. Embroidered motifs are patterned over geometrical shapes or softened organic lines, giving whites a new twist while maintaining traditionality.
For all occasions the woman who wears SM Resort 2023 designs can be seen wearing something that is fashionable but still appropriate – never too extreme to fit her needs! The collection will be available online starting February 15th at the company’s flagship store in Karachi as well as being on display until March 1st so feel free to stop by!
CAAFD is recognized for its rigorous evaluation process in selecting Pakistani fashion designers to showcase their work at New York Fashion Week and Sania Maskatiya remains proud to represent the fashion industry of Pakistan.
