Saaho has had a great second week as the collections remained steady from day to day. The film now stands at Rs. 140 crores in just one version, and is likely to reach around Rs. 150 crores lifetime if things continue this way. Sujeeth’s film also saw few shows being cut in its third week; which might have been because Saaho did best in big cities, especially ones up north.
Meanwhile Dream Girl will have a big impact considering its heavy focus on popular appeal and commercial value since it just came out this past weekend with rave reviews all around – and so far looks like the only movie capable of bridging the gap between cities A-B-C and A+B+.
That said, one cannot deny the sheer effort put in by this movie to reach where it has. Despite all of the negatives – mixed reviews and low audience appeal – who can deny that this is an accomplishment? For now, we can only wait and watch how Baahubali will continue to perform but no matter what happens, people will always talk about how much power there was behind one man’s vision.
