Saaho did incredibly well in its Hindi version during the first week. The movie opened with an impressive collection, progressed nicely on the weekend, and even though it dipped slightly throughout Saturday, there was still no significant drop in collections – ultimately reaching the 5-crores mark right through until Saturday night. On Thursday alone – or just one day after it started – Saaho had collected Rs. 6.75 crores which still ended up being much higher than Wednesday’s contribution of only Rs.6.90 crores – this proves that the second-weekend could potentially be equally as successful too!
So far, it seems that the Prabhas, Shraddha Kapoor and Neil Nitin Mukesh starring film has been doing pretty well. It’s had collection of Rs. 116.03 crores so far which is very good for a movie imported from the south – it was filmed in Hindi too but still the protagonist was from south and without him, these numbers wouldn’t be anywhere near where they are now!
With this Sujeeth directed action thriller doing so well right now – despite early predictions – I think it will wind up with around Rs. 145-150 crores as its final total when all is said and done which would be an excellent achievement.
