Shweta Rastogi first saw the light of day in Meerut back in 1973. She and her husband have since made Mumbai their home, while Shweta’s parents still remain in the city where she was born. During filming of one particular scene from the series, it is reported that Mr. Sagar asked Shweta to perform a dance with Lord Krishna as a measure of testing if she could fit in his iconic Maharas sequence with perfection.
