Pushpa: The Rise has seen a good amount of success in the short span it has been released so far. It opened up to an enthusiastic response from audiences across the nation, with three crore rupees worth of sales on just the first day alone. On top of that, there was even greater demand for Pushpa by viewers on its second day – recording four crore rupees worth of profits before midday had passed. Even though this is nothing compared to Spider-Man, which had yet another successful weekend raking in about 70 crores itself – Pushpa continues to maintain popularity due to well-written character arcs and memorable music sequences
On day three of its release, Pushpa: The Rise made another five million rupees on Sunday. This can only happen if word-of-mouth continues to spread about the film, which so far has been working wonders for it. It is expected that this will continue during weekday screenings and at least two point two five crores should be added today; which would signify a successful box office performance going forward.
As for Pushpa- The Rise, whatever is coming from the Hindi version is just an added bonus for me since this movie was made primarily for the Telugu audience. In fact, it has been doing really well so far. For instance, Allu Arjun’s fans are happy to see him in a Hindi dubbed movie on the big screen – even if just one time – and that has helped bring in Rs. 12 crores worth of collections up until now!
