Rs. 96.75 crores* already and still counting. This is what Pushpa (Hindi) achieved after pulling off a successful turn on Wednesday, taking advantage of the Republic Day long weekend despite screening in limited areas – primarily interior cities – which helped increase viewership immensely and also gathered enough to make Rs. 1.5 crores*. It also happened to be the only film making money during these six weeks, which makes reaching the ₹97 crore figure worth celebrating over just a measly additional ₹3 crore*.
Even if it achieves this milestone tomorrow*, barely more than ₹100 crore would remain until its finished run*, since neither Spider-Man: No Way Home nor 83* has released much recently*. And thanks to that non-existent competition for now*, along with good weekday openings continuing, barring any unforeseen accidents or changes*, an even better finish than its current estimated gross is plausible at about Rs.*103-105 crores*.
*Estimates. Final numbers awaited
