It seems like Pushpa – The Rise – Part 1 will be unstoppable at the box while it continues to rake in money. Allu Arjun’s latest movie has done fairly well both here and in the south with only one other major studio release giving it a run for its money–Spider-Man: No Way Home. And even though there was a slow start initially, profits are increasing day by day as people line up to see this great film.
Now, after earning Rs. 11.84 crore over its opening weekend, Pushpa – The Rise has managed to see a good rate of collections on its first Monday as well. Earning an additional Rs. 4.25 crore on Day 4, which is coincidentally higher than its first and second-day collection the business of Pushpa has been propelled by mass-dominated sectors and single screens in Maharashtra also – where there are 50% fewer people going to movie theaters because they fear terrorism/attacks/deaths related to this pandemic procedure called ‘occupancy protocol’.
With this trend continuing towards the end of its box office run so far without slowing down (going forward), trade predicts that Pushpa – The Rise could well see its first week earnings hover around the Rs. 25 crore mark while running against stiff competition from Matrix: Resurrection (the sequel) and the Ranveer Singh starrer 83 releases soon (but no one knows how much it will affect them).
