Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise- Part 1 is still going strong despite releasing a while ago. It seems to be doing fairly well in middle class markets, but surprisingly finds itself with much stronger numbers than anticipated with lower class audiences. With earnings steadily climbing (reaching its highest on Day 16), it appears that this movie may just fill the hole left by Shahid Kapoor’s Jersey, which had previously been set for release on December 31st.
An additional Rs.6.10 crores was grossed over the last two days (Day 16), which accounts for nearly half of all the money earned so far from what we can tell now – at Rs.56.69 crores according to most sources). Trade experts also predict that revenue will only increase as today goes on (Sunday) as they believe this film’s success may reach up to a whopping Rs.75 crore!
