The new Allu Arjun starrer, Puspha: The Rise – Part 1 has taken India by storm after its release last week. Even before the hype had died out surrounding the amazing movie, Hollywood’s Spider-Man: No Way Home came along and stole some of its thunder. Although it is playing well throughout South India so far (as per reports), the Hindi version has managed to garner only 3 crore rupees on opening day; a below-average number in comparison to expectations since there was no name value or enough public buzz behind it yet.
Having said that though, as long as Pushpa manages to stay alive in other markets too (through now not just Indian but international releases) – we can expect even this small little rustic entertainment drama turn out to be a tiny earners at least when all is said and done.
Given its current collections, trade buzz states that the business of this film will see an increase over its opening Sunday. Interestingly, even though it has faced stiff competition from Hollywood’s biggest blockbuster, Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1 has been able to maintain a consistent audience throughout all showings.
