The Allu Arjun starrer, ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ was a shocker at the box office after receiving favorable reviews from critics. The film had gained momentum in revenue and made quite an impact in the audience. Reaching new heights as one of the favorites, ‘Pushpa’ has collected RS 47,09 crores so far from its Hindi version only!
In this recent box office report, we compare the collections of Pushpa: The Rise to previous Hindi dubbed releases. With a total collection of Rs. 47.09 cr, Pushpa surpassed the Yash starrer KGF – Chapter 1 that had collected Rs. 44.09 cr to become the fourth all-time highest grossing Hindi dubbed south film. Although it may be too early to tell if Pushpa will surpass Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion which has collected Rs. 510.99 cr or even some other Bollywood movies, it is worth mentioning that once again there has been another great Indian collaboration between two of India’s most popular actors – Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar in the movie 2.0 which accumulated only Rs 189.55cr during its whole theatrical run!
As of now, Pushpa is predicted to see an increase in revenue this upcoming weekend but she still needs to earn more than the previous films.
