Released just last month, the romantic comedy movie Puaada starring Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa has gained a lot of traction since it opened. The film is still playing to full houses across theaters in India despite being well past its release date, bringing in approximately Rs 45 lakhs ($69800) after three weeks.
This brings Puaada’s total revenues up to 6.11 crores ($1,121,470), which is nearly 3 times more than it was earning at this point last year (5.33 crores). There are no indications that attendance will decline anytime soon either – so we can expect these numbers to keep increasing over the coming weeks and months.
