Owing to its brilliant portrayal of character and plot line, this film has received plenty of appreciation from various corners. After being informed of such acclaim for his work on this stunning piece, he announced his decision to release it in Malayalam through social media. He appealed that no one would want to miss out on such an amazing film!

Kantara is an action thriller starring Rishab Shetty in the lead role and also features Achyuth Kumar, Sapthami Gowda, Kishore, Pramod Shetty, among others. The film follows a group of people from the Guliga/Kshetrapala community who give up one of their deities for protection in return for some land which had been offered to them by Rajasekhar (Rajesh), the descendant of their former king. However after years go by they face Rajasekhar who wishes to take back what he gave them- namely the land- but when he tries, Rajasekhar faces consequences that were not originally part of the agreement because this deity has become so protective over its territory now.
