Pati Patni aur Woh is just one example; it has been running successfully for ten days consecutively now and even after coming out so late in the season when competition had been from Panipat before Jumanji came out this week or Mardaani 2 will be premiering next month.
This can be observed in the second weekend as well when Sunday proved to be quite profitable for the producers with a total revenue of Rs. 5.52 crores; this is contrary to what happened on Saturday where it only made Rs. 4.88 crores, yet still managed to do better than Friday which had collected only Rs. 3 crores during its opening day.
This movie starring Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Pandey has collected Rs. 69.42 crores at the box office so far – an impressive feat considering the competition it will face in the upcoming weeks due to Dabangg 3’s release along with Ghavun Kaiyaa Ghodi Chadhunga (renamed Good Newz) soon too. All things considered, this movie is a winner at this point – viewers may choose from either one or both of these movies but regardless of what they choose the outcome will still be good because they’ll be watching TV shows or commercials which still feature scenes from this entertaining film on top of buying tickets to see it again; after all, there are many people who haven’t seen this movie yet!
