After collecting an impressive amount of Rs. 2.70 crore on Friday, Panga saw its revenue grow more than double to around Rs. 5.61 crore on Saturday – which was good news because the previous day had been low. It makes sense that after finding merit in this film people would find themselves going back for another viewing too, right?
After facing competition from both Street Dancer 3D and Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior, the 50%+ increase in business for Panga indicates that people liked it. And while an increase of only 30-40% would not have been enough because they had a slow start, they are now at a much better position. This puts them on track to be stable throughout the rest of the week.
This movie has already made Rs.8.31 crores and if it continues at this pace, it will surpass Rs.15 crores by the end of this week which means that there is no doubt that this movie will stay on top for some time until other movies take over.
