Despite recent setbacks, Ayushmann Khurrana is still one of the leading Bollywood stars. His current success, according to industry insiders, is primarily due to back-to-back successes in cinema and winning a National Award for the Best Actor for the role in Andhadhun. Mr. Khurrana first gained prominence with Vicky Donor where he was an integral part of this romantic comedy about sperm donation.
It would not be long before he would earn commercial success such as Dum Laga Ke Haisha or Bareilly Ki Barfi – after playing notable roles alongside superstars such as Shah Rukh Khan or Kriti Sanon respectively.
His current lineup includes 12 different brands, such as Realme, UrbanClap, MagicBricks, Polycab, Turtles HDFC PayZapp V Mart and Tuborg. Four more brands are set to join his camp soon – two belonging to the category of skincare products while the others being educational services geared towards children and security systems.
Currently on set for Bala – a movie which deals with issues like hair loss among adolescents- he is also currently working on prepping up the sequel of his film Shubh Mangal Saavdhan (which was renamed Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavdhan). Recently spotted at shoots for Gulaabo Sitabo alongside Amitabh Bachchan – Khurrana’s latest movies highlight both comedy and drama genre.
