Marjaavaan’s journey towards box office success continues, with Friday collecting Rs. 7.03 crores and Saturday garnering a similar sum of Rs. 7.21 crores.
Marjaavaan, directed by Milap Zaveri, has already accumulated Rs. 14.24 crores due to the lower prices of tickets at the places it is collecting from. Its footfall is even higher than that of a movie that would have grossed close to Rs. 17 crores over these two days, showing the impressive reach of Marjaavaan.
Marjaavaan, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh, is aiming to outdo Kapoor & Sons which opened at Rs. 26.35 crores in its first weekend. To reach this goal, the film needs to generate over Rs. 10 crores on Sunday alone – something that seems plausible given the expected number of moviegoers during this period. A successful feat would certainly bring joy to producer Nikkhil Advani and his production house Emmay Entertainment.
