Mardaani 2 has shown an impressive growth of 10% from Friday to Monday in terms of box office revenue. On average, movies only see a rise of 5% from one day to the next which is why this result for Mardaani 2 is so unique and uncommon.
After Friday’s 50% drop, Dabangg 3 was barely able to hold up enough for its second week. However, Mardaani 2 managed a modest 10% increase over last week – an excellent sign for this Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starring film. It’s no secret that the film had been hampered by low turnout in theatres due to Salman Khan’s new release Prem Ratan Dhan Payo crushing it at the box office.
Now, it has been revealed that the film will surpass Rs. 40 crore mark before the end of this very third weekend itself – having already amassed a worth of Rs. 34.95 crores at this point in time. This success isn’t unexpected because post this achievement, it is anticipated that this particular film will accumulate up to and over Rs. 42-45 crores total revenue during its lifetime run at theaters nationwide!
