The much–awaited and highly anticipated Aamir Khan starrer, Laal Singh Chaddha, has been making waves ever since the news of its release was announced. Directed by Advait Chandan and featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan in a lead role, the film is a remake of Tom Hanks’ Forrest Gump. Despite the enthusiasm and the high expectations of fans, Laal Singh Chaddha did not perform as well as expected in the domestic market, garnering only Rs. 11.70 cr. on the first day of its release.
