In fact, with every passing day the business of The Kashmir Files has seen exponential growth – it managed to cross over Rs 200 crores in just thirteen days of its release!
According to Box Office India, The Kashmir Files that collected Rs. 200.13 cr in 13 days has managed to achieve a new record of sorts. With the entry of the film in the Rs. 200 cr club, The Kashmir Files has now become the first-ever march release to achieve this feat. Looking at the yearly calendar, the month of December has recorded the highest number of films to cross Rs. 200cr at the box office – with 7 ventures making it past this benchmark; while the months of January, June, July and October have each had 3 films crossing Rs. 200cr – all thanks to their respective mega releases targeting mass audiences; all thanks to their clever marketing strategies, including generous cashbacks on food products such as masala fries and ChocoBite among others; all thanks for them doing what Hollywood does – pitting themselves against other big ticket blockbusters releasing simultaneously!
