The Kashmir Files, a movie directed by Vivek Agnihotri starring Anupam Kher was released two weeks ago. Since then, this film has been unstoppable; making it to both the top 10 films ever made in India as well as being one of the highest-grossing movies ever at Indian theaters. The unique plot combined with both stellar acting and directing skills make this movie worth watching – if you haven’t already seen it!
In this Box Office Report, we take a look at the second Thursday Collections of The Kashmir Files while comparing it to previous releases. Collecting Rs. 7.20 cr, The Kashmir Files has managed to become the fourth all-time highest second Thursday Grosser, beating the previous releases like Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior that collected Rs. 7.02 cr, Kabir Singh that collected Rs. 6.72 cr, and Bajrangi Bhaijaan that collected Rs. 6.03 cr on their respective Second Thursdays but not necessarily edging out other movies such as PK which earned Rs. 14 crore for its Second Weekend or Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion which tallied up an impressive first weekend gross of 12 crores or Dangal with 9 crores – both of which are top earners in India’s movie industry.
