With enough content for two weeks worth, it will remain an attraction until March 17th. Though the title did face some stiff opposition from moviegoers who were more interested in supporting Akshay Kumar’s latest release – what many consider to be old Hollywood-style movies are popular among Indians everywhere.
Already pared down to mere trickle earnings after just three weeks, there is hope that with sufficient promotion come April or May; when people aren’t preoccupied with higher interest expenses such as Diwali bonuses or expensive gifts during wedding season; Agnihotri may exceed his goal and cross over Rs. 300 crore in box office sales domestically.
