Released last Friday, the much anticipated Raj Mehta directorial Jugjugg Jeeyo featured an impressive cast of Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, and Neetu Kapoor, which surely gave the film an extensive promotion. With over 3375+ screens in the domestic market, the film witnessed an impressive turnout with a huge jump in business in its second day. However, its collections are still unable to beat certain other releases like KGF – Chapter 2 (Rs. 193.99 cr), RRR (Rs. 75.57 cr), Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (Rs. 55.96 cr), Samrat Prithviraj (Rs. 39.40 cr) and Gangubai Kathiawadi (Rs. 39.12 cr), despite the extensive promotion for Jugjugg Jeeyo.
Even though the collections of Jugjugg Jeeyo have been surprisingly poor up until this point, it continues to be shown in cinemas without much opposition. Trade pundits are certain that the box office receipts of the movie will climb steadily in the near future, and consequently, its business will reach an even higher level.
