The Ranveer Singh-starred ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ is only expanding its fiasco to include monumental proportions, the profits already taking a plunge by nearly 50% on day four. Estimates projected that this YRF motion picture managed to collect Rs. 1.60 -1.80 crores to take their grand total earnings up to Rs. 13.70 crores (local estimate).
However, it’s not just in one region of India where profit had fallen short; every single theater within its borders declared its losses – this flick evidently being anything other than well-received by audiences within Mumbai city limits alone! It could be said then that people were not inclined towards showing up at all for these festivities – let alone sharing them with others!!
The movie will be removed from cinemas after the 2nd Friday, because it has collected an abundant number of lakhs by the end of this week. Even though it is a disgraceful failure, Ranveer Singh’s second one consecutively, there is still hope he may rebound with Rohit Shetty’s Circus film.
The first weekend showed little to no increase on Saturday and Sunday, which caused it to plummet at such an early point in its release. It will finish under Rs. 20 crores (200 million rupees) total – equating it to being his lowest grossing film yet. Although most people had faith that there would be good content based off trailers for the film, it ultimately disappointed audiences when it came down to how great or mediocre the quality really was.
