Saif Ali Khan can now heave a sigh of relief! His latest release, Jawaani Jaaneman, has performed much better compared to his last few solo starrers. Most of these recent movies didn’t even garner any response on the opening day. Even Baazaar managed to make a limited collection, while Kaalakaandi, Chef and Laal Kaptaan completely failed to take off. Fortunately, Jawaani Jaaneman has recorded a fairly respectable collection of Rs. 3.24 crores, much to the actor’s delight.
The film’s reviews have been decent so far and debutante Alaya F has received a lot of praise from all circles. The father-daughter story has already captured the attention of many, now it remains to be seen if that will lead to more moviegoers in the days ahead.
Saif Ali Khan is enjoying a delightful twofold treat this year; as the main character in Jawaani Jaaneman and as the villain in the hugely successful Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior. This year, audiences will get to witness much more of the actor in the upcoming movies and web series, potentially making 2020 a landmark year for him.
