To sum up what I just said, it all boils down to the involvement of this third-party company (eDreams) and how they failed to offer reliable customer service.

Even if there are complications or issues between you and your travel provider, it will still be necessary to contact eDreams first in order for them to take care of the situation themselves; although the issue with contacting eDreams is that they’re customer service isn’t all too stellar which only adds an additional layer of complication when trying to solve the problem because nothing gets done quickly.

While eDreams may offer live chat and phone support, contacting them can prove to be difficult. If you contact them through their chatbots, which are often spammed with automated responses; or call by telephone – there is a high chance they will disregard your call entirely, leaving you unable to connect after lengthy waiting periods.

The major advantage of booking through eDreams is that you usually get cheaper prices than booking directly; however, this isn’t always true so keep in mind that sometimes the price will be higher using an agent such as eDreams.

If a mistake occurs from either party then expect an uphill battle trying to fix things without the help of an agent to assist you – because once they’re involved all bets are off.

However, eDreams seems to be legitimate because it is owned by and operates under the company of eDreams ODIGEO. This corporation is one of the largest online travel agencies in existence, so if they were not a legitimate entity then they would not have been allowed on board.

In addition, there has been evidence that shows that this brand has existed for over 20 years and unscrupulous companies are rarely able to make it this long. Considering these major factors, anyone can see whether or not eDreams is simply out to steal people’s money based on an illegitimate idea with no merit behind it or legitimacy behind its corporate identity.

So, Should You Book Directly or Through eDreams?

If the price difference between booking directly vs. through eDreams is the same or slightly cheaper, then there is no point to book anything through eDreams. However, if there is a significant difference in the price then it mostly comes down to personal comfort.

Personally, I’d rather pay an extra few dollars and book everything ahead of time so that nothing can go wrong; this way you won’t have to worry about cancellations later on because all your tickets will already be booked ahead of time for you!
