Saudi Arabia is doing everything in its power to eradicate Covid 19 and every variant of it. Tawakkalna has been a huge asset during these trying times. The app, which was recently upgraded with new features, is essential for all citizens and visitors alike. Now that we’ve had some time to figure out how best to manage the situation – after receiving many compliments about how helpful tawakkalna has been- most visitors become insured visitors when they come here as opposed to being immune.
Tawakkalna is showing Insured visitor for all travelers going to Saudi Arabia on a visa and has COVID 19 insurance. The difference between the two statuses isn’t significant since they’re both green-colored. Let’s take a look at why some people are shown immune in Tawakkalna and others aren’t:
How Insured Visitor is different From Immune?
There are many people who come to Saudi Arabia as visitors every year; such as the family of four that recently arrived on February 12th, 2022. Upon entering the country, there were certain restrictions in place which dictated how long they would have to stay quarantined for before being allowed to enter society once again. For five days during this period, their status was purple- or quarantined- but after receiving two negative PCR tests results back from their hospital visits and undergoing medical examination themselves within Saudi Arabia, their status changed from purple (quarantined) to green (immune), stating them as an insured visitor now.
What does insured visitor in tawakkalna mean?
This Status means that the person in question is on a Visit Visa in Saudi Arabia and he has active Insurance covering Covid 19. He won’t need to do anything different when it comes to accessing healthcare facilities or medical care. All of his rights from Immune Status are still valid here – his access may just be called Insured Visitor instead.
Can an Insured Visitor travel to Airport?
Yes, absolutely! Any visitor to our country who holds the title of Insured Visitor must comply with Tawakkalna regulations at all times. One such regulation states that these visitors need to carry their passport with them at all times and show it when necessary. This has been confirmed by the Help Center for Travelers called Tawakkalna.
