King of Style HSY presented his newest bridal dresses collection, dubbed Empire, at the Grand Finale of this 9th Edition of PFDC L’Oreal Paris Bridal Week. Celebrating 25 years in Fashion, Pakistan’s famous designer HSY took full advantage of being invited to present his new Fall/Winter fashion line for married women. Four different empires inspire the various styles within this collection; Ottoman Empire, the Mughal Empire, French Polynesian Empire and also Russian Empire.
HSY’s bridal line is a reflection of the company’s affinity towards exploration and journeys. With ‘Empire’, they’ve traveled to different parts of the country searching for handcrafted designs from across cultures. And even though all the embroideries are oriental-based – Dhaga Embroidery, Resham Kora, Naqshi Kada – this time around it was about celebrating diversity.
We want our next collections to include both heavy and light wedding dresses. In order to best accommodate the changing economic situation in Pakistan, we want to appeal to a broader range of potential shoppers by offering products at different price points. A wide variety of styles for all age groups-something for everyone!
For this wedding season, we’re focusing on both lighter and darker colors as well as experimenting with something different for the male population. In twenty-five years of our business, we’ve always strived to offer clothing that’s both fashionable and wearable. HSY expressed this sentiment at their flagship store saying We still feel that today fashion is more about wearability than it ever has been before.
