Tips of 5 Best How to Use 2 WhatsApp Accounts

    1. Format the text to add some verve to your messages

WhatsApp lets you bold, italicize or add strikethrough to text on the fly. To do so, you’ll need to add a couple of special characters before and after the text you want to format- such as *B* for Bolding, _I_ for Italics and ~~s for adding Strikethroughs in your post.

To make text bold in WhatsApp, use an asterisk (*bold*); italicize text with an underscore (_italics_); create strikethrough text with tildes (~strikethrough~).

    2. Make your messages disappear

WhatsApp is now rolling out a new feature that allows you to set how long messages stay before they vanish from chats. If this option is turned on, then each message sent will disappear for up to seven days after it has been delivered.

To turn on disappearing messages for a specific contact or chat, go to their name at the top of your screen and select ‘Disappearing Messages’ from the menu. Keep in mind that any images you send or receive are automatically saved to your phone, so while the text will disappear, the actual image may still be retained.

    3. Star a message so it’s easy to find later

In order to keep track of messages that are important, Star them. To do this, long-press on a message and tap the Star icon. Whenever you’re scrolling through your chat conversations, these starred messages will be easy for you to spot out from other messages because they’ll have a small star next to them.

You can also view your starred messages on an iPhone ($500 at Best of Buy), by going to the Settings tab and selecting Starred Messages. Android users need to tap on the Menu button, then Starred Messages.

    4. Clear out storage, and see who you talk to the most

Curious about which friend is hogging up all your space on WhatsApp? It’s easy to find out. On your iPhone or Android phone, go to Settings > Storage and Data > Manage Storage. You will see a list of contacts in order from who has used up the most storage space on your device. Just tap each one for details like how many messages they’ve sent you, how many images/GIFs they’ve sent you, etc.

The new look for storing information on WhatsApp makes it easier to get rid of large files taking up space on your phone, as well as gives you a chance to see who you talk with the most.

    5. View message details

Did you know that there are statistics available for messages when they were received and read? On an iPhone, if you swipe left on a message you sent, it will display how long ago it was delivered or read. For android users, long-pressing on a text message will show these statistics as well after tapping the menu button followed by info.
