Most people believe that Adobe Photoshop costs $20.99 per month but are unaware of the annual commitment and cancelation fee if canceling before 30 days.
Just in case you’re also unaware of it, let me explain.
Basically, you’ve three choices when choosing a Photoshop subscription:
Monthly Plan: If you wish to sign up on a month-to-month basis, expect to pay $31.49 every month. You are free from any cancellation fees if you decide to end the subscription at anytime. Annual Commitment, Billed Monthly: When selecting this option for your subscription type, you will be charged $20.99 each month yet there is an annual commitment of $251.88 before being able to cancel your plan within two weeks of signing up for it or else incur a cancellation fee from what you’ve spent.
Yearly subscription, paid up front: For Photoshop’s yearly subscription, it’s priced at $239.88 and will be charged all at once. With this option, you cannot receive a refund for your service once the payment is processed within 14 days of purchase. All information regarding cancellation terms and policies can be found below; however, right now I would say that each of the standalone Photoshop subscriptions has its own benefits and disadvantages.
The downside to monthly payments is they are more expensive than both monthly and annual plans; however there are advantages to being able to terminate your service without having to pay any termination fees if canceled within 30 days of initial purchase or renewed term expiration date (whichever comes first).
On the one hand, the Annual Commitment plan is much cheaper than the month-to-month plan but it does come with a cancellation fee of $XX if cancelled within 14 days of purchase. However, it would be worth canceling after 14 days due to its lower cost. Lastly, the Yearly Upfront Subscription can save money over both previously mentioned plans; however there will be no refunds offered once they are purchased – so please read carefully!

Yes, regardless of whichever subscription plan you choose – whether it’s monthly, annual commitment with monthly billing, or up front yearly subscription – you will have access to the same features and services.

Purchasing Photoshop As a Part of Photography Plan
The Photography Plan has two different pricing models; one costs $9.99 per month for 20 GB, while the other model offers 1 TB of space priced at $19.99 monthly.
There are two different versions of this plan – photography and Photoshop. Adobe Photography offers 20 GB of cloud storage at the yearly price of $119.88 or you can pay upfront for a whole year. But, it doesn’t allow monthly subscriptions like we’re used to with Photoshop individual plans; instead, it offers an annual commitment which is required if you want this package.
Contrasting this, the Photography plan (1TB) has a required annual commitment of $239.88 or can be bought by paying the total amount ($239.88) up front for a full year.
Apart from the differences in prices, Photoshop stand-alone and Photography plans give different benefits. If you opt for Photography plans, not only will you get Adobe Lightroom CC but also Lightroom Classic CC as well. Does this sound like a good idea? Sure does!
Here are some important things to remember about the photography plan before signing up for it. First, of all, we need to check out what an All Apps subscription costs and how much is Photoshop included within it.
Buying Photoshop As a Part of Creative Cloud All Apps Subscription
Adobe Creative Cloud All Apps monthly costs are $79.49, while if you commit to one year upfront it will cost you $599.88.
Please note, the prices noted above are for individual tiers. Pricing for Adobe Creative Cloud can vary depending on whether you’re purchasing individually as a business, student, or teacher, or if you’re purchasing these licenses for schools and universities.

To sum up, I would say buying Photoshop as part of the Creative Cloud All Apps Subscription is very expensive when compared to standalone or the Photography Plan- but if you need other Adobe’s 20+ apps and services then it’s a great subscription deal. In the Photography plan, the only real difference is that you’ll have 1TB of cloud storage, Lightroom and Lightroom Classic but not Adobe Fresco. On the other hand, Photoshop standalone subscription gives you access to Adobe Fresco and 100GB of storage while also excluding Lightroom, Lightroom Classic, and 1TB of cloud storage.
And, who should choose Creative Cloud All Apps subscription?
The Creative Cloud All Apps subscription is the perfect choice for anyone who doesn’t just want Photoshop, but needs access to other Adobe’s 20+ Creative Cloud apps to do anything from photography, design, video, web designing and social media. Basically, this subscription is for anyone seeking a one-stop shop solution that offers nearly all of Adobe’s software programs – everything they need in one easy place; it solves any creative challenge with only having to switch between different programs.
Is Photoshop One Time Purchase Available?
Photoshop was previously purchasable by one-time payment but now can only be bought through subscription and monthly payments of $20.99 with an annual commitment, $31.88 month-to-month, or $239.88 upfront for a full year.
However, Photoshop is not the only Adobe product around. There are many different apps made by Adobe with different purposes such as Photoshop Elements which can be used to edit photos at an intermediate level while still being useful for amateur photographers and amateurs without much experience or knowledge. Is Photoshop Worth It?
Photoshop is worth it if you’re looking to create professional-looking pictures and graphics without being concerned about cost; either because of your own means, or because you work for a company that can afford this type of product. Photoshop is the industry standard when it comes to image editing and manipulation, used by professionals from all fields – from photography artists to web designers.
However, Photoshop is not worth it for you if:
- You’re not professional or willing to put in hours to learn program and editing skills.
- You only have to do basic editing.
- There aren’t many times in a month when you need the program.
- You’re on a tight budget.
To conclude, I would say if you are passionate about your photography or graphic design skills and are looking for the best software to edit images and design layouts – then Photoshop is totally worth it! Not only does it provide some of the most powerful tools in the industry but they also come at an affordable price. Adobe Cancellation Terms You Need To Know
Before you commit to buying Photoshop, be sure to understand what will happen if you choose to cancel your subscription. Please note that the cancellation terms and fees for Photoshop are identical to those of all other Adobe products – whether it’s Lightroom, Illustrator or whatever else you may purchase through them. Before purchasing anything from them though, keep in mind these five tips for canceling.
Adobe pricing plans usually comes with three subscription types:
- Month to month
- Annual plan, paid monthly
- Annual plan, prepaid
Monthly and yearly plans are convenient because you can cancel at any time without an early termination fee. The only major drawback to an annual commitment plan is the high cancellation fees if you want to terminate service before the contract ends.
Here’s what you’ll be charged:
If you cancel your subscription before it has been active for two weeks, we’ll give you back everything you paid us. After two weeks, though, your cancellation means that we’ll charge 50% of what was left on your contract.
So what does this mean?
As you know, Photoshop’s annual plan with monthly billing is $20.99 per month when purchased annually for a total of $251.88 – but if there are any months left in your subscription and you cancel, then it will charge you 50% or half the remaining amount on your account which would be $10.5- because (you) are being charged 50% of that last month’s fee ($10.5/2=$5).
In a dire circumstance, where there are only eleven months remaining on your contract and you wish to withdraw this subscription, there will be an applicable fee. So we’ve talked about the cancellation fees- what about refunds? As it happens, whether canceling month-to-month or prepaying annually (1 year), it doesn’t really matter; under either circumstance, one can cancel their order during that first two weeks in which they signed up. In other words, if an individual terminates either monthly or yearly payments within those first two weeks of subscribing – they’ll receive a full refund. After fourteen days however…
However, this is not always the case – if you cancel your monthly plan with an annual commitment (annual plan, paid monthly) within 14 days of starting your subscription for instance, then you will receive a full refund. If canceled after that point, however, then there would be half of what was left over from the remainder of your contract to pay for. How To Get Photoshop For Free?
To get Photoshop free for 7 days, follow these steps:
1. You can download this software for free from the website, or purchase it for about $10-$25.
2. Once you are inside the system select For Individuals and then press continue.
3. Decide which subscription plan best suits your needs then press ‘Continue’.
4. You can now select a free trial for a monthly plan or yearly subscription, then press Continue.
5. You will be shown additional offers from Adobe and the option to select Yes or No for each offer.
6. Sign in to your Adobe account now if you have not done so already.
7. Click on Agree and subscribe to add your payment information. Don’t worry, you won’t be charged until your free trial period has ended.
8. After inputting your credit card information, you will automatically begin the free trial period which lasts for 14 days from this point onwards. Once it has begun, click on GET STARTED.
9. You will then be sent to a webpage from which you can download Photoshop, or you can choose to manually download and install it from the Creative Cloud App for free.
I’ve been told there are many ways to download, install and use Adobe products such as Photoshop (and Illustrator, InDesign etc.). However, when you first start up the free trial of Creative Cloud – one of these options – it will ask for you personal information. This can be provided through your email address.
After this step is completed with success and if you want to continue using the full version of Photoshop after your trial period has expired – which lasts 7 days – make sure to cancel your subscription beforehand so that nothing gets billed towards your account. Otherwise, an automatic renewal fee will come around every month; while paying monthly may seem easier than yearly payments, it really doesn’t offer much money off when looking at all long-term charges.
How To Buy Photoshop?
