The latest Action franchise, Heropanti 2 starring Tiger Shroff in the leading role, has seen a significant decrease of 20% on Sunday. Based off these early estimates, it can be said that this film has earned about Rs.4-4.3 crores on Sunday to take its three-day total to around Rs.15 crore rupees (Rs.1 million dollars).
While films typically see higher revenues over the weekends, Heropanti 2 actually saw collection rates go down on days two and three; raking in Rs6 crore rupees (approximately $950k) on its first day before making only R5 crore ($800k) on Saturday. It’ll be interesting to observe how this film fares during its second week thanks to Eid – hopefully the movie gets enough money coming in during those six days so it doesn’t tank!
