With an early Tuesday grossing in the range of twelve and thirteen million rupees – to put together a solid four days at 130 million. Comparing it to Monday, there was an increase by 15%, but if comparing each film on how little or much it drops – this number might seem just mediocre when compared to Bhoola-e Qatra 2 which also premiered earlier this year with even higher first day collection.
With Sunday still being out of reach we can’t confirm whether Brahmastra will cross the 200 crore mark soon after the second weekend ends, but going by what has happened till now, things are looking good enough.
Of the Rs.150 crores collected, Ranbir Kapoor’s Brahmastra has grossed close to 17.5 crores in revenue from the South Dubbed Version alone; with a total of 132.5 coming in from the Hindi original edition and yet this does not make it his most successful film so far (Sanju still holds that position).
Though the initial earnings have been good for them, reports say Brahmastra will struggle to keep up those high numbers over time; unless they manage to double their earning potential on Saturday or even show an increase of 25% on Sunday – which would be nearly impossible without some major investment or marketing spendings between now and then. Even though there are mixed reviews around on what people think about this movie, all signs point towards it doing decently enough at least until now.
