The Ministry of Islamic Affairs has issued the Eid Al Fitr 2022 timing in different regions of Saudi Arabia. Different areas will celebrate EID-Ul-FITR on Monday, May 2nd. The prayer timings and venues vary from one city to another throughout the country. Preparations are already underway for this event by both ministries – with numerous mosques set up across the country ready to provide services.
Eid Prayer Timing in Different Regions of Saudi Arabia
Here are the various regions in Saudi Arabia and their corresponding prayer timings during Eid-ul-Fitr.
Dammam and Riyadh Region:
According to newspaper 24, the official time in Dammam region is 5:16 am; meanwhile in Riyadh it is 5:33 am, then in Barida it is 5:45 am and finally in Hail it is 5:49 am.
Eid Prayer Timing in Sakaka and Najran Region
According to the announcement, Eid time for this year is 5:51am in Sakaka region but timing for next year’s Eid Al-Fitr (Eid) is 5:52am in Najran Region.
Abha and Jazan Region
This year time in both Abha and Jazan is the same, at 5:59 am. However, in Al-Baha regions, timing is 6 am.
Eid Timing in Madina, Tabuk and Makkah Region
Eid prayers will be held at 6:04am in the morning (Madinah, Makkah and Tabuk) for those who wish to attend. This schedule has been put out by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs for all regions across the country so that everyone may have access to this opportunity.
NOTE: In areas where rain is forecasted for tomorrow, the Ministry of Local Government has instructed the city administration to arrange Eid prayers indoors within mosques out of consideration for those who would find it difficult to remain dry in spite of umbrellas and plastic sheeting while they wait outside. However, it is likely that they will be unable to offer Eid prayers outdoors due to weather conditions.
