Director Rohit Shetty’s latest film Sooryvanshi launched last week and received an overwhelming reception so far. With more than 3000 theaters screening it domestically, the film is off to a great start despite competition in its genre space. After opening with respectable numbers, Sooryvanshi picked up over the weekend as it held steady on its first Monday. As of now, five days since launch date, the movie has grossed Rs. 102.81 crores domestically without having left room for failure or disappointment yet!

Sooryavanshi collected Rs. 112.45 crores, Housefull 3 collected Rs. 109.14 crores, Housefull 2 collected Rs. 106 crores, and Gold collected Rs. 104.72 crores. Not many films manage to make 100 crore rupees during their theatrical run but Sooryavanshi did so within only 5 days! The movie will likely bring in even more money because it is the first big-budget Bollywood movie to release after the second lockdown ended and with the way it’s been doing business so far there looks to be no signs of slowing down soon!
