Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi retained its winning streak on Wednesday as well earning Rs. 9.55 crores more, which was a little lower than what it had earned the day before at Rs. 11.22 crores – but still, the difference is negligible when one takes into account that this film has been out six days now and if you consider that Tuesday saw a notable increase in revenue at Rs. 111.93 crores; it’s all looking great so far! As of right now, Rohit Shetty directorial seems poised to stay strong tomorrow too – earning an estimated earnings of around 50-60 crore rupees (a little less than what it made over the past two days) for the second week just yet alone! All together, Sooryavanshi stars at about 112 crore rupees (after just six days!) and is among India’s top 30 most profitable films ever!
Akshay Kumar’s star power and the quality of Rohit Shetty’s work have created much anticipation among audiences, who are looking forward to watching a film after some time. Overseas reports say that the film is entertaining people, while those in India seem pleased with it too. Audiences tend to step into cinemas during the second week of release – when many fans of a movie might not yet have seen it – so we’ll see what happens next.
