According to most recent news sources, Akshay Kumar’s latest action-entertainer was due for release in theaters all around the world. But there were obstacles because of censorship issues in U.A.E (the United Arab Emirates), so it was released a day later than originally planned; before censorship could make an issue out of it, they authorized the film for distribution within the country. When it finally came out on over 65 screens, the Bollywood blockbuster Bellbottom had already opened at a total gross take of Rs 2 crore [2 million]!
Even though that was enough to make it one of the highest-grossing films this year (that too considering how small Kuwait and other Gulf Cooperation Council countries are), due to bans on its release everywhere else -it never reached higher than tenth place in terms of worldwide earnings.
