Bell Bottom – a movie starring Akshay Kumar – opened up last week to mixed reactions from the audience and critics. But despite this initial negative feedback, Bell Bottom has still managed to gain some traction at the box office. On Tuesday, Day 6 of its opening week, Bell Bottom drew in an additional 1.5 crores rupees (roughly $275k USD) for a total collection totaling about 15 million rupees ($270k USD).
Even though this number seems low when compared to earlier films before Covid-19 protocols were put in place – considering Bell Bottom is the only film released after Covid-19s mandate was set forth – it would appear that this film isn’t faring too poorly against all odds; proving it can survive and even thrive under more stringent regulations than before without fail.
In light of the current events taking place, it seems likely that Bell Bottom will continue to run for many weeks at a time. More and more states have been relaxing their restrictions on Covid-19–trade projections are predicting continued success for them in the coming days.
