The eagerly awaited and much-lauded Akshay Kumar-Katrina Kaif starrer Sooryavanshi finally released. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the film features Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn makes an appearance, as they make guest appearances as Singham and Simmba respectively. The worldwide release saw 1,300 screens opening up for it.
Of these 720 were opened up in North American markets alone – making it one of the highest openings ever seen there – while 520 opened up in just United Kingdom/Ireland territories.
