The newly-released Sooryavanshi starring Akshay Kumar posted an overwhelming response from the audience when it was released last week. Reeling in rave reviews and good audience feedback, meant that the money earned during opening day wasn’t shabby. Offering an array of 1,300 screens abroad, it had many people watching the flick which helped it make close to 1 million USD on opening day alone ($8.10 billion).
Though throughout its screening days (2 & 3) there were fewer viewers; so not much money was made on those days given how popular Sooryavanshi is currently receiving promotion due to being one of Bollywood’s first big budget cinema releases post-pandemic crisis.
