Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani starrer Laxmii made its way to the streaming platform Disney+ Hotstar on November 9, 2020. Many movies were unable to make it to theaters during the lock down that was caused by an epidemic of coronavirus. Newly opened theaters for 50% capacity in many states of India isn’t enough as many popular movies are being shown there.
For instance, Laxmii is only available through online platforms like Disney+ Hotstar in India even though it has been released on big screens outside of India [in United Arab Emirates (UAE), Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji].
