2020 has been a tumultuous year not just for India’s Film Industry but also other industries across the globe. This dwarfs even challenger Street Dance 3D which made 68 crores(74 million dollars) or with Mahima Drishti 88 crores(100 million dollars), Baaghi 3 73 crores(86 million dollars).

Not only did Tanhaji top the charts domestically, but it has also earned greater profits overseas than Baaghi 3 and Street Dancer 3D – earning Rs. 34.85 crores in comparison to Baaghis Rs. 25.9 crores and Streets Rs. 15.71 crores which makes it the highest grossing film internationally for 2020 so far

Indeed, one of the biggest achievements Tannaji had made this year was that his film became Ajay Devgn’s first movie to ever be India’s highest grossing movie. This happened because 83 – a Ranveer Singh starrer which would’ve been an even bigger box-office hit than Tanhaji’s own – got delayed and so Tannaji had all odds in his favor.
