Mumbai Saga managedexceed the Rs. 2 crore mark on Saturday with an accumulation of Rs. 2.40 crores. The mass belt, which is the main target audience base of the movie, has driven up the collections. Even with many people choosing to brave the cinemas and their locales, the attendance levels, especially in the main cities, are lower than expected.
Additionally, locations have experienced a weekend lockdown and a night curfew has been declared in many areas. Additionally, movie theatres have been limited to a 50% capacity, leading to reduced success of films such as Mumbai Saga, which is unable to attract enough viewers despite being able to sell out half of their seats.
The collections thushave reached Rs. 5.22 crores, yet it was anticipated to be more. Despite being highly praised by audiences who are fans of its genre and having actors such as John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi associated with the film, viewers remain hesitant due to the current conditions. It will be interesting to see how the numbers rise in the coming days.
