After two weeks since its release, Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam has made less than $1 million USD at the China box office. In contrast to other recent Bollywood movies that were quickly successful in this market, it is possible that there are many factors influencing how well the movie will do here. It might be hard for people who are not yet familiar with Indian movies or actors to watch one they’re unfamiliar with; or it could just be because they don’t want what we have available here.
Now, on day fourteen of the movie Drishyam’s success has increased to USD 1.9 million [Rs. 14.63 cr.] after it managed to net another 1.2 million dollars [Rs. 914 lakhs] from Box Office Receipts in China within 24 hours since its release date there this Monday morning (September 26th).
This is unlike previous releases where Drishyam was doing poorly because of various parts of the country were closed down due to an outbreak of Covid-19 virus; which caused many people who went to see it there so far not liking it very much or giving it good ratings online either like some other movies – or gave them one star rating only out of five stars they could give while others said they didn’t even want to finish watching it all when they had begun!
