The Ajay Devgn starrer Drishyam released 13 days ago at the China box office after starting off slow on Day One. But it managed to make USD 1,10,000 (Rs. 84.33 lakh) more on Day Thirteen. While other films saw quick success in China, collections for Drishyam have steadily grown over the last few weeks due to reasons unknown or unclear; especially when compared to previous Bollywood releases in this market where things have gone uphill quickly and easily while they languish here still trying to pick up momentum.
With only three weeks left before the end of day count as well as other movies slated for release soon thereafter – trade estimates say that there will not be much changes in business for Drishyam going forward with most likely just a trickle of earnings coming through before it eventually closes out its run at the Chinese box office with what little is left from it after all expenses are taken care of.
