The Kartik Aaryan-starring film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was released last week on Friday. It opened up to a resounding reception from the audience and critics alike and collected Rs. 14.11 crore on Day 1. On its second day, it increased its footfalls across single screens and multiplexes with an even higher collection of Rs. 18.34 crore. And now, after three days of release, this movie directed by Anees Bazmee has earned over Rs. 23 crores so far at the box office!
Just yesterday, we reported that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has recorded the highest single-day box office collections ever with Rs. 18.34 crores coming in on its first day of release. Now after bringing in Rs 23.51 crores more on its third day of release, the film has also surpassed its own record – which now stands at Kartik Aaryan’s highest single-day collection – taking into account both his previous films’ best days at theaters: Rs 16.3 crores for Sonchiriya (released on November 17) and 17 crores for Mirzya (released on December 26). Continuing down this path, the film is set to earn more than Rs 55 crore over its opening weekend alone. Trade analysts suggest that by the end of next week, it will easily break through the ever so coveted 100 crore mark!
