Post that there was an opening weekend at Rs 55.96 crores which is phenomenal for this genre – also breaking records for number one spot for all time openings! Continuing into Monday, we see another large amount being made at Rs 10.75 crores which makes him feel even more confident about how well his movie will do among audiences.
While Kartik has always garnered success before the pandemic hit, it proved difficult for him to make waves after without a theatrical release. Despite this setback, he remained faithful in hopes that opportunity would arise once more and he would be able to take advantage of it. Finally, this moment came as Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 premiered on YouTube instead of theaters.
