Finally, a Bollywood film came out this year and became an instant success! It was a huge hit with audiences of all ages who were interested in going to see the movie. The film did really well this past weekend, but also did really well throughout the weekdays too which helped it become one of the most successful movies of the year so far.
The figures for the box office collection for this film are amazing to say the least. After a stellar opening weekend of Rs. 55.96 crores, this movie continued its success through weeks one and two – collecting more than Rs. 20 crores in total over just 2 weekends! As we head into day 3, there’s no indication that things will change anytime soon; which means that by Friday these numbers could very easily top out at around Rs. 86 crores! Once week 1 is done and dusted, it’ll be time for these numbers to make it over 100 crore without fail – which is looking good so far!
In 8 days, the Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani and Tabu starrer which was made in association with Jitendra Films Pvt. Ltd., Zee Studios, Legend Studios and Emmay Entertainment Private Limited has amassed over Rs.100 Crores at the Box Office already – even if it falls short of this mark by only a few bucks then that too would’ve been worth all of this hard work because such achievement is rare these days when most big budget movies start falling after 4 weeks or so from release date due to poor reviews from critics, low ratings among audience etc.
