Directed by Anees Bazmee and starring Kiara Advani, the film had been discussed for months before it came out. With an opening day collection of Rs. 14.11 cr and a very strong box office performance following it, it seems that the Bhushan Kumar – Murad Khetani produced flick will be one to remember. Already making over 100 crores within just eight days of its release, expectations are high for this blockbuster hit from India.

This makes it not only Kartik Aaryan’s fastest Rs. 100 Cr grosser but one where he joined two different cinematic circles for his work as an actor and producer respectively.
Besides this, Kartik Aaryan will now join the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Saif Ali Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, and John Abraham amongst others who each have two films that have made it past the Rs. 100 cr mark. Going forward, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 continues to entice the audience who are patronizing the film in droves. As per trade predictions, if the film maintains its current momentum by sustaining interest among viewers then at least a total viewership worth Rs. 150 crores would be ensured over just one week – which would break records set previously by other actors like Amitabh Bachchan or John Abraham for their respective films across Indian cinema.
