The Anees Bazmee directed Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 which was released last week on Friday, has had an excellent start at the box office. After raking in Rs. 14.11 crores on Day 1, the theatrical performance of Kartik Aaryan’s-Kiara Advani Starrer went on to grow exponentially with its debut weekend managing to collect a colossal Rs. 55.96 crores but then dropped down since then and stayed hovering around Rs.10 crores per day range while continuing to engage viewers who seem infatuated with it thus far throughout its run while crossing over Rs. 150 crores within just nine days of its release so far worldwide!
Collecting Rs. 130.86 crores gross from the Indian market where the film was released on 3200 screens, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 also managed to collect Rs. 21.69 crores internationally from 629 screens abroad by the end of last Friday (the 25th of September). With this, the total global earnings for the movie currently stand at Rs. 152.55 crore and it is unlikely they will stop there anytime soon with little-to-no competition holding it back in India, thanks to its cinema release only being a couple weeks old – which means it’ll continue making money off ticket sales until all seats are sold out for good; trade reports peg estimates for an eventual box office take of over Rs. 200 crores before all is said and done, which would make it one of Bollywood’s most profitable movies ever made!
