Friday’s figures of Rs. 2.35 crores could have been doubled to truly signify an encouraging start, yet there is still Sunday on which to capitalize; whether or not Ujda Chaman shows further growth remains to be seen.
Usually, with this kind of momentum, the Sunday figures are not always on par. Yet, if the movie comes close to earning Rs. 4 crores on its last day of release, it would still be an acceptable result for Abhishek Pathak’s direction.

Comparably, the considerably hyped film Saand Ki Aankh only collected this amount in its full first week, despite having a holiday included.
